Stress Book Don't be stressed by Stress

Pull it all together

Pull it all together

Bring all of the information that was presented here and pull it all together for your full life benefits. What I have been talking about is confronting your fears, lowering stress, and learning to control the stress in your life for better health and better bodily functioning in the far reaching further. You can do this by adding some type of exercise to your life when you feel stressed out. Take the time to exercise, clear your mind of what stress is happening, and to release the hormones and strain in your body using exercise.

Even if you have to sit at your desk, stressed out about a deadline, you will find that using some type of quick walk, a muscle flex or a tensing of the muscles is going to give you great relief.

Because there are so many ways that you can get stress relief using exercise all you have to do is use your imagination. When I am stuck at my desk, stressing about a phone call that I just received, a report due, or a deadline that is approaching, I will point my toes, flexing my calves all to get my blood flowing and to release some that energy that is being pent up inside of me. You need to do this, any type of flexing and muscular outlet so stress is not going to take a toll on your body.

Have a minute? Take a walk around the building, get up and move, this will release that pent up energy, clear your mind and let your focus on the task at hand. Less stress because you are more relaxed and then the problem that you were stressing about will seem much smaller than what you had made it out to be.

Lifting your arms over your head and tightening the muscles is a quick fix for an energy release, cleaning out some of that excessive energy caused by stress. Now, think about all the muscles in your body – your stomach, your back, your butt, your legs, your arms, your neck and so on, and tighten and relax the muscles giving your energy an outlet while protecting your body from stress all at the same time!

Ever see one of those little stress balls? Feels like sand or rubber and all you do is keep squeezing the ball when you are stress out? The stress ball is a relaxing technique to let that energy out of your body so you can focus your mind clearly on what you are fearing, what you are stressed out about.
