The Better Outlook – Lessening Stress in Life

Everything that we have told you about what stress is, how stress affects your body and the aging that is the result of stress and stain on your body can be reduced or eliminated by lessening the stress in your life. It is a good thing to reduce stress, to prevent aging, and to limited the stain on your body – you will feel better and look better with less stress.



The key to reducing stress and removing all those problems that are related to stress in your life is to look to the better side of life, the lighter side of life, and to put all the worries behind you. All the research that has been done regarding stress proves that when you have less stress you are less likely to fall ill or come down with health problems. When you suffer fewer illnesses in your lifetime, you are going to live longer and this is all due to lower stress in your life now.

Looking for ways that you can reduce stress in your life you might be surprised at how easy it actually is. Now what you need to keep in mind is the strain on your body because your brain is constantly overworking when you are under stress, so to combat this you need to care for your body.

You can care and ‘upgrade’ your body by ensuring that you get enough exercise, and you need to eat right with a good nutritious diet. You also will need to pamper your body with relaxation, doing what ever it is that relaxes you, and you must get enough sleep. Combining all of these things, you can combat stress in your life. Beyond caring for your body, you also are going to need to avoid stress as much as possible so that everything will come together for your mind, body and your health.

Stress is not totally avoidable but putting yourself first will help eliminate much of the stress in your life.

While your brain is a part of your body that you won’t be able to ever totally control, and your brain does control your bodily functions, you will need to learn to minimize what stress you have in your life to keep your brain from overacting on your body and to prevent continued life long stress for your own health. 

If you think you can control your brain and the effects of your brain reactions on your body, you should think for a second about hypnotism and what the brain can repress or even suggest when you are hypnotized. When you are under, your brain can be programmed, changed, your thoughts, feelings, and ideas can be changed so that your brain will act differently but when you are not ‘under’ you have no control as to how your actions and reactions happen. 

What you need to do it reprogram yourself so that you are not going to fear anything that you can somewhat control. And if you think about it, there is very little that you can’t control or that you can’t change in life. So what if something bad happens, you can deal with it after it happens if need be – that is the attitude you have to take so that you have less stress in your life and less strain on your body. 

Regardless of how much you stress out about any certain thing or topic, you aren’t going to be doing yourself any favors by stressing about it for a week when you won’t know the outcome for a month. Learn to remind yourself to forget about it, to change your focus and to deal with it as the need arises. 



Thinking positively is going to change so much in your life. You used to stress out if your socks matched your pants, but when you have it, you bought it to match, and you put it on – you know you look good, so there is nothing to stress out about as you walk out the door. You will be more confident, you will be more relaxed and you will focus on the happier things in life.

The more you use your mind to forget about the stress, and to focus on the positive the less important ‘what you were stressing out about’ actually will become. 

For example,

You know someone sent your computer a virus and you have a major report due in two days. Are you going to freak out? Stress yourself out so that you can’t focus on recreating the report? No, you need to relax, focus on the report, forget about how you got the virus on your computer, and move on. Focus on the task at hand and forget about everything else – the rest will fall in to place as you realize you have your backups so you have a jump on hours worth of work, and you realize you emailed a rough draft to your coworker for review, so now you think, oh it really isn’t so bad after all. Besides, if you look on the positive side of things, you cannot rationalize getting a new computer! 

The point is, don’t focus on the big bad things in life. Accept what you must and move on with your life to make it a positive experience. I have come to realize that most everything in life does happen for a reason, and using this rationale, I have come to fear everything less.

If it is really going to happen, all the stressing out in the world is never going to fix anything. As you learn to accept more, stress less, and focus on something other than your fears in life your body and your mind are going to be stronger for it all.
