Eliminating Stress – Tips for your Benefit

The whole reason I was interested in writing this book is that I wanted to start helping others, cope and lose the stress that they are dealing with in their life. The thing is, I was under so much stress all the time that my health started failing, and I didn’t realize what my mental stress was causing my brain to do to my body.

I want to prevent other from feeling the way that I did for so long, so you too can enjoy life the ‘way’ that you were meant to! Let’s learn how to leave all the worry, anxiety, uneasiness, and other stress behind us.

Your psychological state of mind comes into play when you are discovering how stress is affecting your body and exactly how your mind is working overtime causing more stress on your body. Your entire body is run like a machine, and when your body is out of order, you are going to have strains on certain portions of your body.

If you find that you are sleeping more, your bodies’ mechanics are going to be out of order and your regulating systems are going to change. Your body rhythms are thrown off when you sleep more, or when you sleep less, and this will enable your body to become susceptible to becoming sick. Changing your habits so that you do get enough sleep, but that you are not sleeping half your day away, will ensure that you keep your body going on a regular pattern relieving some amounts of related stress and strain in your life.

If you really sit back and think about the stress in your life you are going to find it all points back to just one thing fear. While you might not actually say it aloud, so anyone else can hear you, and you aren’t actually thinking you are afraid consciously, your subconscious and your brain are working overtime thinking about fear and being afraid.

Looking at it for a very conscious moment, basic instincts about what happens in your life, daily, all revolve around fear and this brings stress to your life. Here is what I mean:

I have a spinal injury

  • I am afraid I will hurt my back even further
  • I am afraid to run because it will hurt
  • I am afraid to have someone else help me
  • I am in pain
  • I am afraid to complain too much
  • I am afraid I won’t be able to sleep with the pain
  • I am afraid that with every step the pain will get worse

I have kids

  • I am afraid my kids will be bad when I am not around
  • I am afraid my kids won’t be healthy
  • I am afraid that the world we live in is a terrible place to raise kids

Worse still I have teenagers

  • I am afraid my children will experiment with drugs
  • I am afraid my teenagers are going to be bull headed
  • I am afraid my teenagers won’t go to collegeI am in debt
  • I am afraid I can’t meet the bills
  • I am afraid I won’t be able to get another loan when I need it
  • I am afraid I will lose my job and be broke
  • I am afraid that I am always going to have this debt over my head

I work too hard

  • I am afraid if I don’t work harder someone else will do more than me
  • I am afraid that I won’t meet my family’s expectations if I don’t work more
  • I am afraid of anyone thinking I am lazy

I am nearly 40

That’s half my life gone

  • I am afraid I haven’t done enough in my lifeI am afraid of death
  • I am afraid of losing what I have worked so hard for all this time

The dog needs a walk

  • I am afraid the don’t won’t wait, he’ll pee on the carpet
  • I am afraid to go out in the rain and get wet
  • I am afraid if I leave now I am going to break my train of thought

It’s raining

  • I am afraid of the windows leaking in the house
  • I am afraid my wife will wreck the car driving in the rain
  • I am afraid to watch the lightening as it strikes nearby
  • I am afraid of the basement flooding

While this list might seem very similar to one that you have in your own life, it is one that represents many aspects of each and every one of our lives. Use your own habits and thoughts during just one hour of your day, and review them. Write them down on a piece of paper if you need to. You will find that you do have stress prevalent in many areas of your life that you need to face for your own good health and a long future.

There are so many other stress factors, stress statements and stressful situations that you will encounter in your daily life that it is important to focus on all of them, from the largest most stressful situations down to the small stress factors in life.

Some of the largest stressful situations in your daily life include, fear of losing a child, fear of death, fear of losing your job, your money, your home, fear of letting others down – all of this coincides with the stress of having/ not having/ and wanting or needing, which are all basic instincts. Controlling what you are really afraid of eliminates stress.

Fear is a foundation of stress, and when you eliminate your fears you are going to lower your stress levels fast!

So, how are you going to change exactly what you are afraid of in life? How are you going to overcome the fears of life? Let’s take this step by step and make it a bit easier.
