20 ways to reduce stress instantly

If you find that you are stressed and cannot get out of the frame of mind here are 20 quick ways to reduce stress instantly.



1. Play Music- But it has got to be the right sort. Soothing classical music or an ambient uplifting CD
2. Sit and pop a sheet of bubble wrap
3. Squeeze a hand exerciser or rubber ball
4. If you are working in a noisy area buy some ear plugs
5. Have a laugh - Watch a comedy show
6. Get out into nature. Try gardening or walking
7. Try a herbal remedy, or herbal tea
8. Have a nap
9. Stroke your pet cat or dog. Research has shown that this can reduce your heart rate.
10. Take a trip to the spa



11. Take some time out from working at your PC
12. Switch off your mobile phone
13. Make a list of things to do and set a realistic time scale for completing the list
14. Run around the block
